Millennium Day Sail

It is not often you get the opportunity to do something that you know you will never be able to do again.
Three of us local sailors decided at the last minute to go for a short sail on 1 January 2000, Millennium Day.
Ken offered his boat for the sail with Bill and myself as crew. We commissioned the boat
and made ready for the adventure. Hope you enjoy these photos of that adventure.

Heading for the main channel of the lake

Entering the main channel

Now we have to decommission the boat until April. That was a fun sale with good friends.
